Article Marketing Success: Get the Results You Want Fast

You’re launching a product, and are using article marketing as part of your strategy. How do you get the results you want quickly? Let’s look at a simple process you can use.

I’ve been creating content marketing campaigns for my copywriting clients and for myself for years. The operative word is “campaign.” As the competition for attention online becomes tougher, you need to plan your strategy, track, and follow through.

Here’s the process in a nutshell:

* Write down what you want to achieve, in a single sentence. Don’t skip this. As your campaign goes into action, it’s easy to lose focus and become distracted;

* Create a short, punchy name for the product you’re promoting. This is especial vital if you’ll be using affiliates;

* Decide when and where you’ll syndicate your articles and other material;

* Create a content plan. Consider both your audience, and your product. Your audience has questions — answer these questions in your articles.

Before the Launch: Create Buzz for Your Product With Articles

A couple of months before your launch, it’s time to create buzz, and yes, you’ll do this using articles.

Write a series of articles targeting your market. Your aim at this stage is to get sign ups to a mailing list. Therefore, in addition to syndicating your articles, write custom content for sites which your target market visits.

If you’re using affiliates, create content for them, too. The more effort you put into helping your affiliates, the better. Few companies do this effectively.

Create a blog for your product too: post your articles to your blog, as well as syndicating them.

After the Launch: Keep Building Momentum

Your efforts before your launch are a prelude. After the launch, keep developing articles and using them strategically. This content answers any questions your buyers have, and encourages them to recommend your product to others.

With article marketing, not only can you get results fast, you can ensure that your content brings sales for years to come.

Create Your Own Info Product: How to Get Started

You’ve been thinking about creating your own info product. Everyone tells you that you MUST do this, and that it’s a great and relatively easy way to make money online. Unfortunately, it can be a real gamble.

You can shorten the odds however, if you do a little preparation.

Let’s look at how you can get started, so that you end up with a product which sells well.

1. Test the Market for Your Idea First

I’ve had some great ideas for information products. Unfortunately, I went ahead and created the info products without testing the ideas first.

It was a waste of time and energy.

Nowadays, I never create a product until I’ve assessed its chances for success.

You MUST test your idea first.

There are a couple of simple ways you can do that — create a blog, and sell other’s products on it.

In just a couple of weeks, you’ll be able to assess your own product’s chances of success.

If you make sales of others’ products, you’ll make sales of your own product. And, since you already have a blog, you’ve made a great start.

2. Create a Mini Version of Your Product, and Sell It Fast

When you’re entering a new area, don’t start out by launching a major product. The chance that you’ll be able to create a big product, and sell a lot of it in any new area is somewhere between slim and no chance at all.

Create a tiny product first.

Pick a problem the market has — just ONE problem, and create a fast product. If you’re creating an ebook, make it under 20 pages.

See how many of this tiny product you sell.

Again, it’s a way of testing a market without overwhelming yourself. If your mini product sells well, then you can go ahead and create a full product.

You usually develop the wisdom to test your “big” ideas after many flops. Follow the advice I’ve given you, and you can eliminate most of the flops. You’ll create information products which sell well, repaying the effort you’ve put into them.

Discover how you can use blogs to create information products which you KNOW will sell.

Affiliate Marketing: Four Savvy Ways to Boost Your Income Today

If you’re an affiliate marketer, you know that successful promotions take thought, inspiration, and time. You can spend money too, but you’ll often get great results without spending a cent.

I create and promote my own products, but I enjoy affiliate marketing too. If you’re a newcomer, you’ll find that you can make a great income. Let’s look at four savvy ways you can boost your income today.

1. Boost Your Promotions: Buyers Love Bribes

Top-selling products have thousands of affiliates, so if you want to promote one of these products, you’ll make sales if you remember that buyers need encouragement to buy from your link.

Bribing works. Your bribe doesn’t need to be spectacular. It can be simple, as long as it adds value to the product.

2. Promote More: Aim to Promote One New Product Each Week

You need to dig a lot of dirt to find a few diamonds. You find those diamonds by ensuring that you’re constantly testing new promotions.

Create a schedule, so that you make the time to research new products, and create promotions for them. Create additional promotions for those products which sell for you.

3. Boost Sales by Using a List: Create One Today

You’ve heard the saying: “the money’s in the list”. You’re getting traffic to your promotions every day, so make the most of it. Create one or more lists, so you can contact people again.

If you have a top-selling product, expand your thinking. What other products might these buyers be interested in? Check any magazines which are published for that niche, and look at the advertising.

4. Develop a Fast Process: Buy Domains and Use a Fast Site Creation Tool

When your aim is to promote at least one new product each week, the more quickly you can work, the better.

Buy a domain for each new promotion, but keep it relatively generic, unless you’re sure the product will sell

Use a site creation tool which is fast. You should get your sites online quickly so that you can start promoting quickly.

Affiliate marketing is a great part-time business, and if you enjoy it, you have the option to go full-time. Use the four savvy ways we’ve discussed, and your income will grow rapidly.

How to Write Ebooks: Get Started Making Money Today

Want to make money online? You can, if you learn how to write and sell ebooks. You may not become an overnight millionaire, but you will soon develop the skills which will help you to build an income which others will envy.

There’s a lot to learn about creating information products, so it’s important that you start small. I’ve seen writers spending two years on a project because they bit off more than they could chew.

By “small”, I mean an ebook which is less than 50 pages. Keep your project sharply focused. A small project is quickly completed, and gives you the chance to learn the process.

This is important, because becoming an information product producer is all about process. Once you’ve learn the development process, you’ll be much more relaxed, because you know exactly what to do.

I have a product-creation checklist, which I follow. I tick off tasks as I complete them, so that I don’t procrastinate.

Just as publishers think in terms of product lines, so should you. When you become an expert, you’ll have a list of ebooks you intend to create in the next 12 months. You’ll be working on one, while researching another, and marketing those you’ve already created.

Be patient as you learn the process, then extend your skills. You can then write longer ebooks, and you can create information products which are complete packages. For example, an ebook package may include videos, as well as other supporting material.

Here is an important tip. If you haven’t written ebook before, get started by writing ebooks for others. By the time you’ve written five ebooks, you’ll know exactly how the process works, and you’ll have much more confidence. And of course, you’ll also have some money in the bank.

Writing and selling ebooks is a great way to make money online. It can be highly profitable, but only if you know what you’re doing. When you’ve learned the process, you can developed an income stream which may indeed make you a millionaire one day.

Blogging: Give Your Visitors What They Want and Profit

Creating a blog for your business website is a great marketing strategy, if you give your readers what they want. Let me share an experience with you which shows you how simple this is.

A couple of weeks ago I was looking for a birthday present for my cousin. I remembered that she’d just bought an Apple iPad, and that she likes to listen to audio books.

I visited a self-help site which was familiar to me, and bought a couple of audio books. While checking out, I noticed that the site had a blog, so I read the blog while my purchases downloaded.

Over the next few days, I visited the blog several times. There was a lot of content, and there were podcasts too: interviews with audio book authors. Inevitably, I ended up buying several more audio books.

I’ve now bookmarked the blog.

But why did the site’s blog encourage me to make additional purchases? Three reasons.

1. I Came to Know and Respect the Company

I was already familiar with the self-help site, and since I’d purchased from them before, the blog didn’t affect my initial purchase decision. However, as I read the blog, I learned more about the company, and the company’s founder and its staff. Their goals and aspirations resonated with me, and I found myself liking and respecting them.

This liking and respect encouraged me to buy more.

Think about that: your blogging is a social activity. It helps you to make friends.

2. I Grew to Trust the Business

The more I read on the blog, the more my trust developed. These were real people, running a real business. Previously I’d looked on the company as just a company, but now I considered the people who made up that company. I trusted their advice.

Remember that your site’s visitors want to trust you. However, you need to give them reasons for giving you their trust. Blogging develops trust in you, and your products and services.

3. I Remembered the Blog, and Revisited the Site

The blog mentioned topics of upcoming blog posts, and promoted new titles and authors. I made a note in my calendar to revisit the blog once a week. Christmas is coming up, and I have a huge gift gift list, so I’ll be spending a lot of money on the site over the next few months.

When you’re writing a blog, you’re creating a conversation. Talk about what you’ll be doing in the future, and about upcoming product launches. This gives your readers a reason to bookmark your site, or subscribe to your RSS feed, or to make a note to revisit your site sometime in the future.

Blogging directly impacts your bottom line, when you give your blog’s visitors what they want. You can do it.

Imagine creating a blog which you KNOW will make an income…

You’ve heard about the great income you can make blogging, and how easy it is.

Unfortunately, most bloggers don’t succeed, because they don’t have a method to follow.

Now you can discover the secrets of blogging success with Angela Booth’s Lazy Rich Blogger method. You can start today.

Article Marketing Tips: Make Articles Work Harder

If you’re using article marketing, particularly for affiliate marketing, you want your articles to work hard for you. You spend time and money on them, so you need to get the best return possible on your investment. Let’s look at how you can do that.

I’ve been using articles to market my business for over a decade. I’ve had great success with it, particularly since I started using the following four tips.

1. Write Your Resource Box First

When you promote with articles, you’re offering free information. In return, you want your readers to do something for you: you want them to pay attention to your marketing message.

Ensure that your readers pay attention: spend just as much effort on your resource boxes (also known as bios), as you do on your articles, by writing your resource boxes first.

2. Plan Your Articles in Advance

Consider your article marketing strategies when you’re launching a new product, or are developing a new marketing campaign. Write your article titles and outlines in advance, so that they’re ready to go.

Then you can either have someone write the articles for you, or write them yourself, so that they’re ready for your launch.

3. Use Article Marketing to “Freshen” Your Website and Site Pages

The search engines love fresh content. If you have pages on your website which you haven’t revamped in a while, give them a quick makeover, and then write a few articles to draw attention to them.

The result? More indexed pages, and more traffic and sales.

4. Use Search Engine (SEO) Strategies to Boost Your Articles

Remember to think about how your readers will find your articles, as you write them. Include appropriate keywords, but don’t overdo it. One to two primary keywords are ample.

Keywords change over time. Your audience uses different terminology. If you’re using the same keywords you used last year, do some research: you may find keywords which bring you more traffic.

So there you have it: four simple tips you can use to make your articles work harder for you. Use them to ensure success with your article marketing strategies.

Flipping Websites: Use What You Have to Make Money Online

If you’re been in the Internet marketing business for more than a year or two, you’ve got lots of websites — more websites than you can comfortably promote.

All your sites are online properties, and just as with real properties, you can sell your sites. A site sale can bring in some quick cash, which you can invest into new ventures.

Flippa is the primary site-sales site, but there are many more.

Consider selling sites which:

* Are making a great income (sites which are real earners are highly sought-after);

* Sites which are making a small income (you won’t make as much for these);

* Sites you can’t monetize (someone else may be able to do it easily);

* Sites which are “mistakes” — you explored a niche, and decided that it wasn’t for you.

Search and Find: Can Google’s New Search Results Make More Money for You?

Google search just got better. To see how, visit Google and enter any search term you choose.

For example, I searched for “affiliate marketing.”

Once you get the results, you’ll see a three-column layout. As always the ads are on the right side of your screen, and at the top of the page.

Your search results’ links are on the left, and if you click “Page previews” as in the image above, you get nifty previews of pages in the results.

Here’s how you can use the new search results to make money.

Use the New Search Results Make More Money

There are lots of ways to save time and make more money now that you have more information at your fingertips.

Let’s look at a few ways I just came up with — you can find plenty more. :-)

1. Click the Updates link to see what people are talking about right now — and get ideas you can use

The Updates link takes you to Google Real Time search, which tells you what people are saying about your search term (“affiliate marketing” in our case), right now on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook.

You can use this real world info in many ways; I like to use it to find new keyword terms I can exploit. For example, I notice that someone just asked “Are there people that make a living off Affiliate Marketing?”. “Affiliate marketing make a living” turns out to be a popular keyword (yes, keywords can be phrases), and I’ve just added that to my keywords list.

2. Find videos you can embed on your sites — find great content fast

If you’ve got lots of money-making sites, as I have, updating those sites is simple: add a video, and the search engines can see that your sites are alive, and will send you more traffic.

3. Find affiliate products to promote: add more shopping sites to the results

You want to make money with your sites, so you need affiliate products. That’s super-easy now, just click the More shopping sites link, and you’ll find products within your niche to promote.

There’s lots more you can do with Google’s new search results to make more money. Give it a try yourself, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.

And if you too have lots of moneymaking sites, you’ve got ways to refresh your sites and increase your income, with little extra effort.
